Internship Opportunities

Entertainers at a New Orleans event

Hospitality & Special Events Internship | Paid

ACCENT New Orleans is a leading destination management company with more than 35 years of experience producing high-level meetings and events. We combine deep local knowledge with precision execution to deliver programs that work.

We’re looking for driven, detail oriented interns who want real event experience. This is not shadowing. You will assist with planning, coordination, and on-site execution across live programs throughout New Orleans.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want hands-on exposure inside a professional event team, this is for you.

Time Commitment:

This is a hands-on, immersive summer internship designed to give you real experience in the hospitality and special events industry. Interns commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week for 10 to 14 weeks during Summer 2026. Because we are in the event business, flexibility is essential. Some evenings and weekends will be required based on program schedules and live event needs. This is not a desk-only role. It is real-world, real-event experience.

Compensation:

This is a paid internship for Summer 2026. Compensation details will be discussed during the interview process. High performing interns may also be considered for extended opportunities based on performance and business needs.

Working Conditions:

Interns will work in a collaborative office environment and will also assist with off site events throughout New Orleans including receptions, tours, activations, and large scale programs. You should expect:

● A fast-paced environment with real responsibility

● Direct exposure to client programs and event execution

● Time on your feet during live events

Physical requirements may include walking, standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and carrying up to 25 pounds. If you are looking for hands-on experience in one of the most dynamic event cities in the country, this is it.

The details matter. From guest engagement to cultural touches, thoughtful planning is what turns a New Orleans event into an experience people actually remember.
